Cinderella dinner

In honor of the recent ballet, the girls and I made a Cinderella themed dinner.

This is our clock-pizza.  I was afraid it wouldn't look like
a clock, but I think it did!
See how it's almost midnight? Clever, huh?
Caitlyn made the crust, and sauced and cheesed it.  Keegan shredded
the cheese and placed the pineapple and bacon.
We had a bunch of fun and everything (if I do say so myself ;-) turned out so cute!  Another cool thing is that the girls were able to do almost everything themselves.
Kitty cat cupcakes in honor of our Keegan cat!

Pumpkins were growing on our vegetable tray, but wait....

they actually held our dip.  Maybe Keegan's favorite part as she LOVES ranch dip :). (way more than she loves the actual veggies, in fact ;-)

Keegan and Kelsey each made a pumpkin carriage to decorate the table.

We combined the carriages with - of course - a slipper

Kelse was in charge of our fruit animals.  Mice, since she was one, and dogs, since the dog was one of Cinderella's friends.

They were adorable!

Magic fairy wands, compliments of Caitlyn

Keegan was so creative with this! Our Cinderella had a dragon.
It was a red, long, (with 5 or 6 guys under it) Chinese dragon.
Keegan created this banana-coconut-pretzel one :)!

Work in progress

And the final result - ready to eat!

Friends :)

As always, the people are the best part of the show.  The girls were thrilled that our wonderful church friends and their aunt, uncle, and cousin came to the ballet.  I don't have pictures of either of them, BUT here are some of the pictures I do have :)

How incrediby cute are they??   Tyleah, Kelsey, and Paige

The girls' oldest, wonderful friends Peter and Rebekah Lindsay
It means so much to us that they came :)

Rayonna and Caitlyn are best buddies

Mary Elizabeth and her mom are two of the sweetest people ever.  And talented, too - Miss Margie made all of the girls'  costumes for "The King and I."

Keegan and Maggie shared the role of the cat.

Marvlous Make-up

I can brag on how marvelous it is because I didn't do any of it.  Our wonderful make-up workers did, which makes it even better :)!  (Applying make-up is not my strength.)

They found a really cool cat face to use.  I love it!

OK, Caitlyn doesn't have on her make-up yet, but I loved this picture and it shows Keegan's really well!
Kelsey switches from a little girl to a mouse.  Yea for the workers who stay to make the transformation happen :).

Kelsey Quote

When we go to dance, especially long rehearsals, we look like we are moving in.  Each girl has a lunch box, a dance bag, and an entertainment bag for when she is waiting.  Plus I bring a purse, camera bag, and an occasional project, so we make quite the procession.  Getting it all back into the house is also a challenge.  The other night I had a free hand so I offered to carry Kelsey's very heavy dance bag.  She agreed saying, "Yes, please.  It's a burden."

This is the most snow we have had in ages and I am loving it!
My girls have never had seen much snow in one winter.
 It is great for sledding.
Keegan and Kelsey go out at least once every day.
They have a great sledding track packed down, but as of today, it has holes melting in it :(.
Today Kelsey and I were sliding in the purple circle and turned backwards.  Then the back of my coat got caught underneath it and flipped us over.  Apparently it was pretty entertaining to watch. And pretty funny if you were the one who landed on top (Kelsey.)
The neighbor's dog is enjoying it, too.
All part of the fun of the snow :-).
